Does erasing windows phone remotely erase data from sd card as well?

I lost my Lumia 640. As soon as I realized, I erased its data using my windows account (under Find My Phone option). I wanted to know whether it deleted the phone memory only, or sd-card as well? Because all of my pictures and some apps were saved/installed on the sd card. It does not make any sense if the Erase option deletes only the phone memory data. Please help! Thanks in advance
