Does insider still works for 920?

[Windows Central Question]

I was trying to install win 10 build 164 on a friends 920 as i did with mine using the insider app.
i have downloaded the app and selected slow ring and its been a day now and i cant get the win 10 update.
When i try to change to fast ring, it gives an error that an update is being prepared and i should install it before but there is no update.

Any thoughts?

Hi, you will need to select the 'release preview' ring to get build .164.
