Does it play 3D Movies?

Getting conflicting info regarding Xbox one S's ability to play 3d movies. Can someone clarify?

I do enjoy watching 3d movies using our projector at home with glasses, and my kids enjoy it too. Been watching IMAX 3d movies and they are great. But I'm using a PS3 for this in our media room, would like to replace it with the Xbox so we can watch YouTube TV there as well.

Don't know the answer, but I can't imagine why it would not. It's just passing through the source to your monitor/tv/projector and as long as THAT supports 3D you should be fine.
