Does re-downloading music from music store uses others folder?

I have seen a post somewhere where it was said that the person had doubts saying if re-downloading a failed music shall use an unnecessary space on 'others' folder. And if it does can we clean the previously failed music download?

It shouldn't and if it does use the storage check which you can clear the temporary files.
