Does reading a FB message in windows phone messenger mark it as seen on FB?

As the title would suggest, I was wondering if reading a message in windows phone messenger that was sent from facebook will actually mark it as seen on the senders fb.

Any ideas?

That would be fairly easy to test, although I would doubt this is not the case. When my fiancee wakes up I'll give it a shot.

After a quick test, the answer seems to be no as I suspected.
