Does Remote Desktop work from Surface 2 to local Vista PC ?

Anyone know if it's possible to get Remote Desktop to work from my Surface 2 to a local PC running Vista?

I keep getting "cannot find PC" entering IP or PC name
but I have set up my PC to do web hosting and I can browse to the IP address using desktop IE and see my local web pages.

Yes, it will work. Check you tube for a few tutorials. However my Virus program detected Vista as a virus, and rightly so. Worst thing to come out of MS since Windows ME.

It worked fine for me. Both devices in the same work group, then enabled remote sharing on the Vista machine, and I was in. It won't work the other way though, due to security with RT, or at least, I never found a way to do it.

Don't be dumb bockersjv, Vista is not a virus - no more than humans are a virus.

I'm pretty sure it would need to be Vista Business or Vista Ultimate in order to connect via Remote Desktop.
