Does Samsung adaptive fast charging fast charge my lumia 950?

I have Samsung adaptive fast charging and I want to know, will it work with my Lumia 950? The specs are:
Output: 9.0v =1.67 A or
5.0v = 2.0a

The charger will definitely charge your Lumia 950. However, I think you're asking if it will provide rapid charging to your Lumia device. I'm not 100%, but I believe that Samsung uses the same protocol of rapid charging that Microsoft does, so you should be able to rapid charge your Lumia with the Samsung charging brick.

Hopefully someone with firsthand experience can corroborate or correct me.

I don't think it will. Original fast charger is rated at 5.0V - 3A

I tried and it charged it, but there was no fast charging icon... I don't know if it's fast charging it or just regular charging it...

I don't believe it does follow the adaptive fast charge, but give this article a read for a good discussion of the topic:

The Lumia 950/XL are *not* Quick Charge 2.0 compatible - but it doesn't matter!
