There is a split-second sound at the very end of every audio track in the 8.1 preview. It has been there since day one and continues through the latest update (yesterday). Does the 630 suffer from this? I am wondering if it is the OS or if maybe the firmware update will fix it.

I've got the 630 and the popping sound I had with my 620 isn't there anymore when fast forwarding a video or whatever... Hope that answers your question

It isn't an OS issue then. It must be in the firmware. It just means that I have to wait for AT&T to put out the official 8.1 update get a fix. Ugh. I use my phone for all of my music.

Out of curiosity does the 630 have a sound equalizer? A buddy, who is a current 520 owner (which doesn't have the equalizer), is wondering. If it does it'll definitely replace his 520.

EDIT: Nevermind just saw the Equalizer thread. What a shame

I've heard this reported, but I have 2 phones with 8.1 and neither have this sound.

Edit: I do have a fast forward pop though
