Does the lumia 635 with 8.1 have the third row of tiles?

not by default, but the option is there.
also, its third column. rows go horizontally, and we have practically unlimited rows IIRC.

Yes, it does. I finally got to see the 635 up close at a T-Mobile store earlier today and it's a lot nicer than I thought it would be. I set it to three rows of tiles myself while playing around with it.

Was at MS store today and checked under settings -> start + theme. Couldn't find the third row of tiles option on any of the display phones. Anyone know if that's just a display phone issue or if the setting is in fact missing?

whattttt, it should be there!
heck, my sister's 521 (4" display) has that toggle.

yah that's why i was curious if anyone actually had the at&t version and could confirm that it was just a display phone issue. Cause my gf's 820 even has the third row.

I tested the display at the Microsoft store today too, and a third column was not an option...

Third column certainly is an option on the 635, it's toggled exactly as Guytronic has described. I'm running three columns on mine right now. Did you ask one of the sales people at the store for help?

I'm familiar with how to toggle it, I have a 925 on 8.1.

The option simply was not there.

Perhaps its been disabled on display phones, but I am glad to hear you've been able to get it to work.

I should be getting mine today, and will update you on my situation.

The 635 with three tiles on doesn't look good, does anyone else think different? and can people show their arrangement of tiles if they look good? cos i guess i'm doing it wrong then, so i need some inspiration.

Thanks

This in mine - this is my first Windows Phone and I'm only getting started figuring out how I want the phone laid out. I'm coming from an Android background so I'm used to screens and screens of tiny icons.

I just can't get used to the small icons. I keep trying. Had some small ones for a spell but I just don't have an eagle eye, lol.

Mine does indeed have the third row, looks great. Must just be the display phones.

None of the 635 display phones running the retail demo firmware have the option for the third column of tiles.

Whew!
I'd die without the third row now after having it
I would be so disappointed finding no "more tiles on the screen" when me 635 gets here...
