Does your Lumia 950 xl restart once in a day? I am on official build

My Phone restarts all of a sudden. This is not frequent though. It happens once in a day

YAAAAAAAAS! This happened with my Lumia 950XL all the time on build 10586 - my suggestion is switch to the slow ring and download that build, it works flawlessly on my 950XL, and it improves performance and even battery life. Try it out, just be sure to backup your device.

Freezes, and I have to hard reset. Happened to my 950xl 3 times today....!!!

I got a 950 XL a little over a week ago. No restarts since I first turned it on.

Nope, no random restarts or freezes. Running .338

I am into my second 950XL (the first one had glance screen not working any more, too dim).
The first one was bought on day one. Maybe there were reboots sometimes, but not any more. Not on the mature TH2 builds and not on RS1. Same for the second one now, having it 24 hours now, no reboots.

I am really leaning towards a possible hardware problem and would advise everybody affected to get theirs exchanged, if somehow possible.

It does on mine at least once a day on preview builds, pretty sure its software though.

What about release preview ring

Release Preview ring has stable builds that would be pushed soon during the monthly-update cycle. At this point, you could safely enroll in it.

Happens a lot on Android that it has become a normal thing.

My 950 XL rebooted once a day at launch, but it never reboots now, I would say at least since the last 2-3 official builds/updates.

I'm on 10586.318 now. (no Insider)

I've had maybe 2-3 of these random reboots, in 4 months now. I'm mostly on Release Preview, current 338, from 318 before. I don't think I've seen this on 318 or 338, the 2xx build before that wasn't nearly as nice, I know I saw it at least once back then.

I am on insider and have hot had a restart in several builds. This weeks build seems very stable.

Mine freezes and crashed a lot. Way more than 5 times a day. I have to leave it plugged in. When I do that if will not crash or freeze

If that much, if it was me, Id uninstall random apps every day until I found one that maybe causing it. I may be wrong, but I would bet an app is causing it.

I can give that a shot. It was fine till a build patch was sent out because of battery issues with some devices like the 930 or something. I have not added any apps in a long time but its worth a shot. I am running out of options I already tried a reset
