Dot View Case only $15 on Amazon: Worth it?

I have read many threads and comments on the Dot View Case and people's opinions of it, but lemme give you my expected usage of it. I would snap it on only when I'm going outside or into an area where I'm liable to drop the phone. I would use Cortana's swipe feature pretty often, along with the "pick up to answer call" feature. Is it worth the investment then? My worries include the awkward one-handed use with the case on, and the fact that it covers up a beautiful phone. However, I may sacrifice that if I can protect the phone from dings and scratches. I'm not considering a screen protector or another case. Thoughts/opinions?

Well, I cant answer for your economy, but $15 is not too much when you already have invested 100's on the phone Unfortunately not speaking out of own owner experience, but I have been using one of my friends' HTC with a Dot Case. He is a carpenter which helped him alot of protected his phone from dings and scratches during work time.
I could actually see myself investing in one for special occasions when I think about it.

Don't they retail for like $30-40 bucks? $15 is cheap especially if it's the oem version of the Dot View, I say buy it.

The biggest thing to keep in mind is that the Dot View case will not work well if you have a screen protector as the cover will not close.

I love the Dot View Case, I only use it when I leave the house though. It makes the phone really hard to use (typing especially).

My issue is that the display underneath is not perfectly aligned with the dots on the case, so it makes the display hard to read when the cover is on top

I think the case is well worth it for protecting your device. However like a seatbelt, it isn't going to offer 100% protection for incidents. Tread lightly.

Black is $9.99 now and others under $12 but when you try to but even though says in stock it says deliver Dec. ?????

So I bought a dot view off amazon and it was not an official case! It was some Chinese knockoff and the build quality was horrible compared to my official one I bought at Verizon. I bought directly from amazon and it was advertised as an official HTC case. Buyer beware!
