Where does the weather information come from that's displayed on Dot View cases? I've noticed that the temperatures displayed on the case differ from Cortana's and Weather Bug's temperatures, (sometimes drastically so), and I got curious. (I'd be really happy if I could customize where it pulls its data from, but I don't see any options for that, so I'm guessing that's not possible.)

Weather Bug uses its own weather network--Earth Networks. Uses different and local weather stations. I believe Cortana and MSN Weather use Accuweather, which is based on the National Weather Service data. I find the National Weather Service information to be the best and most useful where I am. Here's what Weather Bug says about this:

WeatherBug has its own real-time network.

Nobody else (besides the National Weather Service) has their own commercial-grade weather and lightning observation network in the United States. Ours happens to also be the largest in the world.
