Double tap to wake

Do you leave this feature on? Does it really have a substantial impact on the phone's battery life?

Haven't noticed a significant drain in the battery with it enabled and I personally like the feature.

I've tracked a problem with my lockscreen password when double tap is on. It causes multiple key presses to be registered when trying to enter my pin. Hitting one or two key presses results in an incorrect password and can be rather maddening.
