Double tap

Anyone else notice the LG g2 uses the double tap to wake up?

Yeah I saw it but I think they called it double knock or something. :winktongue:

However it was going to be a matter of time for when another company would borrow the idea :wink:

I think there was some prior art for this, so it's not patentable by Nokia. Now whom ever did it first, may already have the patent and others have to pay for it.

If I touch my power button twice it unlocks, opens the camera.
Or the browser.
Our search.
Or takes am audio note.
Or dials a number.

There's enough prior art of a device responding to a double touch that it's pointless to patent.
