Downloaded 8.1, but don't want to install it. Delete files???

Hi all,

I have a Samsung Ativ s, which seems to have many issues on WP 8.1.

I had the auto-download updates option on, so my phone downloaded the necessary files for 8.1.

Now I have the "an update is ready to be installed" message, and from time to time I see a pop up reminding me to finish the process.

I don't want to finish the installation!!

I want to delete the preview files, and wait for the 8.1 version from Samsung.

I have deleted the preview for developers app, restarted the phone, but the files are still there.

Any ideas? Thanks!

I have the developer preview on my ATIV S and the only two issues I have are the camera and the APN settings, both of which will be fixed with updated firmware. Not sure what these "many issues" are though!!!

For my gf, owner of the ativ s, those issues are more than enough

Re install preview for developers
Enable then close app
Disable then close app and then check for updates, and remove app as you see fit.
