Introduction: Nokia Lumia 1520 camera review: Connect

Here is what you can do with RAW and Lighroom.. you can get rid of some of the noise without loosing too much detail

Yes, you do loose some fine detail but the image comes out nice and smooth.. all I did was reduce the luminance and color noise, and sharpen a little bit. Then I resized it down to 6Mpix which is plenty for most people.

I am very happy with the 1520's camera performance.. it was pretty obvious from the first shots Nokia published online. I think that the Snap 800's DSP helps quite a bit.. I can't wait to see what they do for their next imaging flagship.

I also hope that the 1520 will be able to run the Windows RT/Windows Phone merged OS.. I know its still a year away, but considering how well Snap 800 runs RT on the 2520, I don't see why the 1520 wouldn't be able to. The only question is the RAM.. especially if they port that beautiful multitasking from RT to phone..
