Drivers and Windows RT

I bought a cheap usb controller shortly after playing GTA: San Andreas on my Surface. However, I wasn't very through.. I bought a USB controller, not an xbox controller. I feel a little silly to say the least. I used the install disc on my PC, and got the installation files, what now?

While I'm at it, I bought Spartan Assault and Skulls of Shogun on my phone last year, can I them on my Surface without paying twice or no?

Unless the controller lists winrt as being compatible you're probably out of luck. The rt runs on arm chips, which use different instructions than normal Intel or AMD chips, so you can't use the normal windows drivers on surface..
