Dug the old 8x out of the junk drawer and installed 8.1 today

So far so good. This was a backup phone to my 1520 I recently developed a stress crack in and started getting a little glitch. Used the DP app for updates and took about an hour all together. Only problem has been in getting gmail to work, so I went back to metromail and no problems.

Big adjustment going back to such a small device but so far so good, will use it until I get a replacement more in line with the 930 in size.

Compared to the 1520, my 8X really does feel like a toy. But, it is a really great phone. I miss using the 8X, but love my 1520 (and my Z Ultra...but don't tell anyone ha ha ha) too much to go back to it. Good luck getting reacquainted with it again.
