Duolingo app keeps saying no connection

As I'm typing this, the Duolingo app on my Lumia 920 keeps refusing to go any further, even reinstall doesn't help.

Are you using WIFi or mobile data?

I'm running a 920 with Preview for Developers, and it works for me using WiFi.

I have tried both. None of them works. I have reinstalled the app couple of times, tried soft resetting. Can't hard reset though, too many games and lots of apps have been installed by me. Can't go through the trauma of reinstalling them again.

It now works, but still with some crashes along the way, especially on startup.
