Duplicated photos - is wp8.1 going to fix it?

Any information if wp8.1 is going to fix the problem with duplicate photos?

I've just emailed Satya, will update my post when he replies back. But till then I think lets wait for 2nd April for the announcement. How does that sound?

The problem is that the issue appears and unfortunately it's quite common.In some posts we can read that MS is aware of the bug and they are going to fix it.( e.g. Getting duplicate pictures - Microsoft Community )

The question is when it's going to happen. WP8.1 seeems to be an excellent opportunity to do it.
