I have always plugged my phones into the car radio so I can take calls hands free. I don't have Bluetooth in my cars, as they're all older. This always worked fine with my other Lumia phones, 928 and an Icon, but w the 950 people on the other end of my calls can't hear over the echo. Turning down the volume not much help. Hoping for some thoughts from you good people.

I guess I'm alone w this issue. I'll contact att/ms and see I'd they have any thoughts and hopefully get a solution it or understanding of this so anyone else with same problem can find it here one day.

Try placing your device somewhere else when you're on a call. You might have to experiment a bit with location. Alternatively buy an inexpensive BT earpiece. It's not the phone, I can almost guarantee it.

out of curiosity... the echo... do they hear themselves, you or both echoing?

Device position doesn't matter, sounds are routed through the sound system mic and loudspeakers. If your car doesn't have a mic that's the problem
