Edge viewing mode bug

Ever since my phone updated, I've had problems using the Edge browser on my phone. 50% of the time, I cannot use it for anything. Everything is unreadable. It changes between the two different showings shown on the attached pictures, this despite what I choose in the settings menu. I hope someone has a solution as I'm getting pissed with Windows and their updates.

well, you are not alone. Its happening 50/50, on Google search, bing search and on any other site /so its not a web related/.

Its really anoying, hope they fix it soon.

I think we have all been having this issue. It randomly gets stuck in desktop mode where its completely unresponsive. The only fix is to close the tab.
