They're talking the new browser in win 10, Edge.... Not the connection speed.

It actually let's us upload using the mobile browser with that material design upload button. Sweet!

Oh right sorry lol. MS Edge works great for me but I always use Metrotube.

Actually, awhile ago they were embedding "no desktop" into the url automatically if you used IE on the phone even on desktop mode. If you removed the auto injected code the page would load fine both in desktop mode or mobile mode.

So I can totally understand where the OP is coming from.

However it does look the android version and Edge UI look almost on par, going to check myself and will post results.

Edit: Yup, even on ios its the same so looks like a widespread change:

Well.... hate to be sarky... a website isn't tailor made on a per user basis :winktongue:.

If you prefer the old website maybe this will help for awhile... Cached Pages - Get the cached page of any URL

Google is rolling out a new YouTube layout for mobile. What you're seeing is the new design. It just hit the Android app too. I'm not very fond of it but Windows Phone users should actually like it as the new way the app works is very similar to WP8.1.
