Before I spend hard earned dollars into this device, may I know if the X3 supports aptX?

How does it sound when connected to a high end over ear headphones such as Sony MDR-1RBT?

Does it have any B&O tuned equalizers if not Dolby enhancements like Lumia 1020 when connected to headphones on wire?

Thanks a million in advance

Here is the audio information about the x3, no note of aptX so I am not sure if it is supported. Two other Qualcomm audio features are listed though.
  • Stereo speakers, one speaker sharing with earpiece, speaker rated power is 0.6 W per channel, short-term maximum power is 1.2 W
  • Snapdragon Audio+ audio support, B&O Branding
  • Qualcomm FluenceTM Pro technology

I don't know how well BT audio works on the x3 (I only have wired headphones). Nothing bad to say about using wired headphones, nothing notably unique in how the x3 outputs sound (it sounds balanced, no distortion or noise). Volume is way better than my 920, with the 920 I found I had to max up headphone volume all the time, this one I can set it to any volume level and it sounds good.

There's no B&O enhancements (actually HP enhancements, they just add a B&O logo) that can be enabled/disabled. No equalizer or anything (at least not yet), no virtual surround either. These are supported by the hardware, but are not currently available in software/firmware, so they could come in a future update (no details on if/when this will happen though, so don't expect them at this time).
