Email attachments, we're do the go when downloaded?

Hello Members

In the hotmail Email client on the Lumia 1520 (Windows phone 8.1 ), if I receive an emailed document attachment, and click on it to download it, we're does it go?

I can't find it anywhere on the phone, I don't want to send it to my onedrive storage.

If I hold down on the email attachment, a menu opens with 'save' but this is greyed out.

Is there a solution, or workaround to get email attachments downloaded to the phone, to a location were it can be accessed?

Help would be great thanks.

Documents should end up in the Office Hub if it's a Word, Excel or PowerPoint file. The best way to handle documents is to open them from the email and then save them. This will automatically put them in the Office Hub.

If it's a PDF it's a whole other story.

If it's a PDF then it's stored in your download folder.
