Email replies getting removed

I have a Samsung Focus with Mango. Sometimes when I reply to an email in a conversation, my reply is removed. The receiver just gets their last reply and any previous messages in the conversation sent back to them without my response. It seems to happen most often when replying to someone that has a Yahoo account. I am sending from my phone which has Gmail setup with exchange.

Has anyone else experienced this? It doesn't seem to be the 2003 problem a lot of people have been reporting about from what I can tell.
