Should Microsoft focus more on this form of marketing from here on out, as it seems to be working tremendously, or should they focus on more product-specific commercials, or a mixture of both?
 
In my opinion, the 'Honestly' ads are very good because it's very product specific. The problem is that they're not very entertaining.

The Superbowl ad, however, is unique. I don't think they can make more ads in exactly this way.

Microsoft has to find the best of both worlds! :)
 
How do you know it's working tremendously? You can't judge results from an ad just a week after it was aired. Number of YouTube views is hardly a credible metric.
