I think everything's still very clean, smooth and reduced to the essential information, but I guess it would help to keep it that way if every tile was restricted to the set accent color. Sure, there are brands to consider and we already see that Microsoft uses pre-defined colors for the xbox and skydrive - yet in my opinion the xbox, facebook and other logos are still very recognizeable regardless of tile color.

That said a global accent color applying to all tiles would be the better option.

I am the guy that wants customization in some form as long as it makes my life easier. MS with its decisions does that. You can choose to customize, but even if you don't its fine and you get the clean everything. And that's great IMO.

Yes..I miss that too..but apparently lot of people complained about it...and that's why MS decided to get rid of it..
