Error 0x00000f when installing the latest Win10 update. How do I fix it?

[Windows Central Question]

Trying to install the latest update for Windows 10 and I get the blue screen with the error code 0x00000f and then it aborts the installation. I have done an extensive search and haven't found anything about how to fix it. Can anyone give me any clues?
