Error message: The operating system is not presently configured to run this application

Hi,

I installed Windows 10 Anniversary Update a few hours ago, and I have only one problem with my OS now: whenever I try to open the control panel, I get the following error message:

"The operating system is not presently configured to run this application"

Then, the screen blinks, and the Control Panel closes. I still can use my PC without problem.

Any suggestions?

And please, please, please don't 'Firefox-Support-Team' me, because I can't go through one more "reinstall it and everything will be fine".
