Facebook apps slowly turning into true UWP?

It does my head in how WhatsApp is constantly updated and Fb + Messenger is not. It has to be part of a unified plan for the latter two but to leave it this long is just bizarre.

They do update the apps.. Just not mobile :)

I recently got updates for Facebook,Facebook Beta and Messenger Beta on my Surface Pro4.

After the new reveal of CShell combined with WoA (Windows on ARM), it may look promising that the desktop apps are eventually gonna run on mobile. I'm hopeful!

should we use Facebook or Facebook beta on Windows 10 pc?

As far as i can see, there are only visual differences, so it is up to you. The non-beta one is probably more stable (or at least it should be).

This won't solve our W10M problems. We are not going to get this update.

Oh, nice to know :) Are you some sort of Microsoft employee, since you are sitting on this information?

I believe that previous handsets (At least the 950s and HP and Alactel) is gonna get the CShell, but that is pure speculation from my side.

If they intended to give us 16xxx builds they wouldn't have split mobile into a different branch, this makes no sense.

I'm with you. Existing phones will probably get the "official" feature2 update and that will be end of the line. The split probably happended because of the "new iteration of W10M"
