Facebook lock screen notification question.

I have been looking for an answer to this one without luck. For the Facebook lock screen notifications to work on WP8 do push notifications (toast and/or tile count) need to be enabled from within the app?

yes, and they need to be enabled on the lock screen as one of the 5 notifications.

Toasts probably do not, but yes to the tile/count. I believe those 2 are tied together.

That makes sense. And yes, I do have the lock screen notification enabled in settings.

I wonder if the SKD/OS allows for separating those so apps can have a lock screen count but no tile count.

The only reason I ask is that if a user has both their 'me' app and Facebook app pinned then they will see Faced ok notifications on both. That is if they have their Facebook account setup on the phone.
