Factory Installed Screen Protector?

I am pretty sure I read the Win HD comes with a factory installed screen protector. How can I tell if this is actually on the phone? I bought a refurbished one from eBay and honestly can't tell...it doesn't look like there is a screen protector on it and it didn't come with one in the package.

Yours may have not come with one because it is refurbished. You would be able to tell, look at the corners and you may be able to see air bubbles. New ones come with one pre installed and one in the box.

Yeah doesn't look like it does. Does this phone need one? I usually don't use protectors and avoid putting my phone in the same pocket as my keys or other things that could scratch it

It doesn't have gorilla glass so it may not be as resistant to scratches, I guess if your careful with it but accidents do happen so I always use a screen protector. As I found from another user here the tempered glass screen protector for the HTC M8 is almost a perfect fit for this phone. I bought one and use it.
