Just wanted to let you guys know that the 1520 does support fast charging. I couldn't ever find concrete proof that it did, just the usual "it should." I bought an Aukey micro USB quick charger for $15 on Amazon, and my 1520 went from 53% to 89% in 30 mins. That is MUCH better than waiting 3-4 hours for it to charge.

Can you check the original charger to see what output current it had? Anything above 1.5A can be thought of as fast charging. Most cheap phones have 0.75-1A as the charger output

Not really sure how to check it. I just know from the charging times that I have experienced that this Aukey charger makes it BLAZE

Not sure the 1520 classifies as "cheap" brother.

well you have said the 1520 charger has an output of 1.3A, so that is kind of fast and I did say 0.75-1A output is considered slow which is mostly for the cheaper models. My brother's 640 came with a 0.75A output charger while my 1020 came with a 1.5A charger

one way to find out is to use a 2.0 charger and see if there's a difference in speed.

This is a quick charge 2.0 charger. It's an Aukey, I just searched Amazon for one. I don't really need to measure output, I've seen the difference first hand. I would have returned it if it didn't charge it this fast. 1520 is usable as a main device again.

Thanks to you, I need to buy one quick charger just to test it on Lumia 1520, 630 and 550

I bought the backwards compatible Aukey QC 3.0 charger and I can confirm QC works. I went from 30% - 90% in an about 50 mins.

With Redstone Builds quick charge doesn't work, I bought the Aukey QC 3.0 charger and doesn't work :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:. Which version of S.O do you have???
