Fast way to turn off Music?

Hello,

I am using the Music+ app. It continues to play music if I switch screens or kill the window. But if I have to shut off the music quickly, the only way I know how it to open the app, and have to click pause on the song.

Is there a faster way to kill sound/music?

Press Vol up or down button, hit pause in the drop down list/menu or call cortana and tell her to pause music

Try from store app called stop music. Put tile on start screen and that's it. When you tap on it music stops and cleared from volume up and down.

Or if you're using headphones, just pull the headphones out and the music/podcast pauses.
