Fate of ClearBlack

I'm curious. Is Microsoft implementing Nokia's ClearBlack technology into their own hardware like the 640/640XL? I haven't experienced it, but many people have praised ClearBlack in phones like the 730 and 830. I hope MS are continuing with it.

From all the hands on videos I've seen, the blacks on the 640 and 640 XL are better than the 830. Not sure how it looks in person though

Totally! On my 730 text looks like it's floating in space when you use it in totally dark room.

Of course, because that's a Nokia phone. Was originally asking about what Microsoft has made until now. I wanted to know because it's such an important part of the display, as you guys have emphasized.

Clearblack is used on the 640 and 640XL. The screens have a lot in common with the 635, and actually have better viewing angles / blacks than the 830.
