I've been playing around with Field Test Mode on my Lumia 635 (accessible by dialing ##3382#). What I'm hoping to do is use it to see which LTE frequency I'm on. Is the only way to do this to go into the "LTE" menu and look at the "EARFCN" field? When I do that it gives me an EARFCN of 3050, which is BRS (2600MHz), which is what I would expect.

Is there another way to do it? Interpreting the EARFCN isn't the most elegant way of doing it. :)

Anyone got a link for a guide on how to use the Lumia Field Test Mode?

Once you accept the disclaimer, at the bottom right is settings... have you checked in there?

When I go into settings, all it offers is:

- Polling frequency

- automatic or manual network selection

- the option to limit SMS storage (???)

- Toggle ENS (whatever that is)

- Toggle CMAS RMT (whatever that is)

I'm good with using the EARFCN, it'll just require some memorization to know that 2000 is AWS1 (1700/2100MHz), 3050 is BRS (2600MHz), and 5670 is MBS (700MHz).

Is there really nothing online for how to use the Lumia Field Test Mode? I couldn't find a guide to it, despite it being on lots of handsets. Seems strange.
