It does. What can you do though? I am guessing Amazon will tell me that they can't give me my money back. I wonder if it would be smarter to just sell my account to someone for like $20.

My wife had an issue... When we canceled our subscription in 2010 (I think) my wife canceled her SE account instead of the subscription... IDK how long it took, but she called SE and they were able to reactivate her account which still had the FFXIV CE code attached.

Mase, they are working to fix those issues... Also, they are also giving everyone extra free time before the subscription rates kick in.... My wife, that was so against getting in to FFXIV, is in love with it. It has the makings of the best MMO to date.

Hell, I'm trying to think of an app to write for it.

Even though I got money back from Amazon, I still got a working key for the game. After waiting another week, Square Enix finally gave me what I needed to fix the problem, but I probably won't play the game.

Back in the day, I worked at a really nice Hotel. One thing that told us is this: Customers who have problems that get fixed properly and promptly are generally more loyal than those who never had any problems. Point being that a company shows its true colors when adversity hits. Customers love to know that when things go bad, there is nothing to worry about.

Square Enix handled it terribly and makes me not want to give them another chance, even if the end product becomes amazing.

Yeah game is much better now, I stuck with the game since release and I'm happy I did. What levels are your classes?

Just started my character: 25 archer and 13 (I think) leatherworker (or whatever it is called)
