Find start perfection: Transparency Tiles successor, Start Perfect, available now

Many people on this forum have shown a lot of interest in Transparency Tiles, and given me a lot of great feedback over the last week. It's been amazing to see such a positive response to the app. I've been listening to you and today I'm happy to release my new premium start screen customizer with many of the features you asked for.

Start Perfect includes a built-in version of Transparency Tiles which has even more apps including OneNote (this feature is in beta), New Word Document, New Excel Worksheet, Songza, Battery, Moliplayer, Yelp, and others. It also lets you pin all the system settings to start.

Exclusive features to Start Perfect are: pinning websites with transparent tiles (custom tile images for websites will be coming in an update very soon), pinning label tiles (either transparent or invisible), creating blank tiles (either transparent or invisible). Start perfect also helps you create the perfect background by allowing you to create solid color and gradient backgrounds, or choose one of your own photos and tint it to get a bit of the old theme color feeling while still showing off your favourite picture.

I'm committed to making Start Perfect the only app you need for anything related to your start screen, so you no longer need to download 10 different apps to get your start screen just right. I'd be thrilled if you support me and would love to hear your requests for new features.

**Transparency Tiles will still be updated going forward with new apps, but it won't get all the apps that are available in Start Perfect. Specifically OneNote will not be coming to Transparency Tiles because it requires extra work to enable.

Although I think it is more beneficial for you and for your users to have a single app with trial/paid version.

I want to make it clear that Transparency Tiles is a fully featured and free app on it's own right, so I think I'll keep it this way, but thanks for the tip

I know that Transparency Tiles is basically a temp solution until the devs update their tiles to be transparent for once 8.1 is released to the public, but I really appreciate the work that was done when new apps were requested. Because of this I decided to support this dev, and purchased Start Perfect. So far, I added my 1 tile, 'onenote', and I'm happy (hopefully 'onedrive' can come soon).

What I am really hoping can be integrated into this app so it can truly be the 1 app to customize my start screen, is a wallpaper creator very similar to polyscreen. Pictures behind the tiles can look cool, but I love the way my phone looks with my transparent tiles, and some poly behind them. The 1 thing that I wish the other app I mentioned had was the ability to choose a base color or 2 that can be in the polygons.

My Instagram tile isnt working properly :'(
It redirects me to an unknown Instagram window where i've always got a "cant load the feed" or something like that message forcing me to click "home" (on instagram) to get it.
Any tips or plans in fixing it?!

Anyway, really nice app there.

The developer wrote something on Instagram on his FAQ page (bit . ly / startperfectfaq):

Instagram shows an error when opened using the transparency tile

• Workaround - press the home button in Instagram to continue.

• Expected fix - Instagram doesn't allow opening to the main page, only to a specific photo. We are planning on allowing you to enter the ID of a specific photo on Instagram so that the tile will open to that photo rather than an error screen, but you will still need to press the home button. We have also requested that Instagram allow linking to the main page, but this isn't likely to happen soon.
