Finding text files

When I copied over my music files using my pc I also copied over some text files to my phone. I have been searching about how to be able to view and open the text files. Unless I have just missed seeing it do not seem to be able to find the answer. Help!

Have you plugged in to a computer and checked? Also try opening Office and look for them.

It looks like it can only find them if you put them in the documents folder that is already in the phone.

That will hopefully change when Microsoft releases their file explorer later this month.

Actually, I'd rather they fix the mail app so I can select something other than a photo or video for an email attachment.

Kind of making my head explode as I transition from two years of android.
