Fingerprint reader just stopped.

Was rolling with the cool fingerprint sensor. Then, about 10:00 today, I noticed id get a message, cannot recognize your fingerprint.

I tried going into settings, but the screen just force closes.

Ideas?

I had it stop working on me once or twice before, so I just removed both iris, fingerprint, and PIN, and started over. But... if you cant get into the settings menu, and a reboot doesnt fix it, you may be looking at a wipe/restore.

Yep! Popped my sim cards out, put them in my 950xl, and started the backup / WDRT / restore process.

Mostly painless bit annoying.

It is working now.

What worked for me, was to remove the iris scanner. Fingeprint scanner worked as usual after that.

Probably needs a firmware update...
