- I love the Metro UI, it's fresh and start of the art. I love the multitasking, the charm bars, everything.
- I love the multiple virtual keyboards, it really makes a difference compared to the iOS keyboard.
- I found I could use it like a laptop with the kickstand on my legs no problem
- the touch cover takes getting used to and the trackpad is just too tiny to be useful.
- the Mail app could use a unified inbox
- the Music app works fine for XBox Music pass
- the top volume level is less then the iPad.
- no hardware orientation lock
The app store is a disaster. One app publisher had multiple apps for individual NFL teams instead of 1 app, I reported this guy. Generally speaking the app store is paltry compared to IOS. This is he big weak point.even with the big name apps there are quality problems. F.e, the Kindle app doesn't do smooth transitions between going to prev/next page like you'd see on iOS.
The bottom line is there is no compelling reason for a consumer to buy a Surface RT over an iPad or Nexus 10.
