I am uploading the pictures using the attach feature so they are getting resized and compressed. Original size is 2.5 MB.

I will post the originals via photobucket soon.

The bands listed are: WCDMA850/900/1900/2100/1700_2100 LTE700/850/1900/1700_2100 GSMQUAD

Same as WP7.5 so far. Toasts and notification numbers inside the tile in the corner.

So it looks like it does have the AWS bands

Do you have full res pictures on Skydrive?

Also, I'd like to see something to compare it to.

Some of the indoor pics of items looks grainy until you posted one taken with an L900 and I saw how little light there was in the room.

xsever, don't mean to bother you but can you take a pic of the box (or documentation) where it lists the frequencies for the phone.

low light photos will look grainy/noisy considering it probably jumps to a high ISO and the sensor is small and the photos are full size.

The uncompressed versions, at lower size will most likely look better.

The full res pics indeed do look much better, not really worried anymore :) Not necessarily still quite as good as my N8 can pull off, but I can live with that as long as it's good enough. Most of the time the OIS will guarantee a better picture than a few extra megapixels and a xenon flash anyways :)

Can you please post a photo using the Panorama mode in Creative studio? I'm interested to see if the quality is better than the 900.

Thanks!

The camera on this device isn't supposed to be just good enough.

One thing I'm curious about. Does the newer Nokia Drive app now tell you street names when you need to take a turn (as opposed to the "turn left in 500 feet"). And if you're playing music, does it lower the volume of the music as the voice kicks in. Before it didn't do that, which made it pretty useless when playing music at the same time.
