First serious Windows Phone - 1320 on Cricket. Some questions (No tether)

I tried the 520 for a week and generally liked the UI, etc. but went back to Android but got a chance to get my hands on a 1320 for a real good price and so far I love the 1320. My question is how do I get tether? I do not see any options at all. This is important for me. I come from a background of rooting, roms blah blah so if there is some such thing on Windows then I'd love to get dirty. I am on Cricket and this is a Cricket 1320 so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey First of all congrats on the 1320, I hope you enjoy it Unfortunately it seems as if Cricket has removed the option for internet sharing..

I also have a 1320 from Cricket. (Got it for $100 on a black Friday deal). I'm staying with Cricket only long enough to get the unlock code then moving to straight talk for the internet sharing (tethering). First thing I did with mine was flash it to a Latin American rom while it was still on 8.0 - before Cricket had a chance to prevent any flashing through their "updates"

Try the TetherX app. I used to use that quite a bit. Works nicely. Just make your PC browser go through proxy. Should be easy for you.

Cricket is so short sighted with their tethering policy. I understand they think it drives business to the more expensive ATT brand but I think they're wrong. Cricket customers are price conscious, and if they want tethering they will most likely go where they can get it cheapest, which isn't ATT. I think the policy is losing them potential customers. I don't think they care.
