Fixed my 920 battery drain.

When I first installed the 8.1 update, my battery would get very hot and only lasted 3 to 4 hours. Tried everything. shut off all apps in background. It turns out my yahoo mail in the email hub was stuck syncing. So I deleted the Yahoo email and then reset up the account and battery is not hot anymore. I also think it take a few days for all the apps and settings to adjust to the new 8.1 OS.
My phone is stable and my battery life might be even better now. Hope this helps people with similar issues.

I just installed 8.1 yesterday and the battery drain has been awful ever since. Just noticed that my Yahoo email was greyed out and in a constant sync mode too. Hoping this fixes the battery issues on my 920 too! Thanks for the tip!

I soft reset of my 920 seemed to resolve it for me. No yahoo accounts. just gmail and outlook.com

Same here. My gmail account was stuck syncing on my 920. Took it off, considered keeping it off but re-added it anyway and the battery has been fine.

My battery isn't as good as when I was on 8.0, but its a lot better than after the initial 8.1 update. I think after a few more days and charges it will get better.
