Flash SMS app possible?

I use to be able to send flash messages from my N95 8gb Symbian and was wondering if anybody else is looking for a similar app for their lumia 1520 WP8 perhaps some clever developer out there will help us solve this problem.

I guess either the op means sending a .SWF file using messaging or just sending animated GIF images something similar to this:

Anyways, animated gifs are supported only on IE i guess since they don't animate in the messaging app, nor in the pictures app

no no no.
flash sms is nothing to do with flash or .swf
flash sms is a sms, which is displayed completely and directly on ur screen, rather that going in inbox or threads. then when u hit the back key, it gets deleted automatically. u won't find it in inbox or threads. some older phones shown receiving flash sms in their logs, but most of the phones, cannot.
thus, flash sms is not traceable once deleted.

flash sms was very popular in symbian and series 40 handsets. it gives u privacy and fun.

yeah thats true!! i love the sms flash on my Nokia 5130 hahaha that jokes and more... old good times... a shame this dissapear on new phones...

I miss this cool trick that my 5130 can do and my Lumia 720 cannot.

I don't think Micorosft knows what a flash message is, even though they have an article about it on their website:

Isn't there any app to make this happen? Or even a website. Maybe i could try to make an app to use the website.
