If you are in North America, flashing to a ROM that currently has Denim will kill LTE connectivity, since only RM-984 variants have received Denim so far. Microsoft has been deathly slow with the rollout and completely useless in offering any estimations about Denim arrival for the rest of us.

as hasasimo wrote, if you have the RM-983 (go to settings, extras and info and scroll down to see what you have), you will loose LTE if you can even flash the country variant rom. pankaj from worldspy's post above is selling the L830 with RM-985, which WILL give you LTE on ATT and has the latest complete Denim firmware.

I hope ATT is rolling out our missing Denim firmware piece by end of month. Otherwise, I will consider buying pankaj's ;)

I don't care about LTE so its not an issue i mean the at&t would be fine but i don't like a few things and settings that are locked that were open on my 930 that i flashed a French rom on

If you do not care about LTE, use navifirm plus to download denim from an RM-984 cv and then flash it with Nokia care suite.

I bought an "unlocked" previously locked to Telus RM-985 now it s just a 000-CA country variant and it still connects to T Mobile's LTE

It seems any phone newer than the Lumia 920 (on either Amber or Black, I forget which) AT&T has enforced a different boot signature so that only AT&T branded ROMs are accepted. You are likely out of luck.
