Reporting in. Running Win10 Pro x64 Insider Build 16237 and yes, the font issue does seem to be an improvement running on a 4k monitor although I have only done limited testing and remember this is only a beta build.
My system is 27" IPS monitor 3840x2160 with 200% scaling using 16237. Using 3840x2160 - 200% scaling with the current CU doesn't work for me. As has been reported earlier, the fonts appear thin and IMO is a retrograde step from simply using 1920x1080 with 100% scaling. I rarely play games so cannot pass an opinion in this area.
Whether MS continue to improve on the font issue in later builds or indeed the final release I guess we'll have to wait and see. I very much doubt whether they will ever match the superb display achieved by the 27" MAC and that's with Win10 using default MS programs.
