Is there any way to make the default font size bigger for everything on the Dell Venue 8 Pro?

Yup.

I did that and it just changes the font size on the system windows. It does not change the IE display or the apps.

Then try this:

1. Click on the Start button to get the new Windows UI

2. Start typing "font" (without quotes)

3. Click on "Settings"

4. Click on "Make everything on your screen bigger"; this opens PC settings (which is different from the classic Configuration Screen)

5. Set "Make everything on your screen bigger" to On.

Within IE you can ( if using a mouse ) hold down CTRL and Scroll the mouse wheel to increase / decrease font size in IE.

IE specifically has a default zoom level, I find 125% works well, but then the full page doesn't fit in portrait mode.

The small font size is one of the bigger complaints I have seen especially on the Dell forum. The mail program in particular has no way to change the font size.
