Forced to leave WP

Hi everyone,

I couldn't find a good place to post this, but I figured this would be a good place.

I'm moving to Japan and, while there have been a few announcements of Windows Phones in Japan, I can't bring myself to getting a mid-ranged or low-end phone. I use my phone too much and my 925 is a bit too slow for what I want.

So, I have to move.

I was wondering what you guys thought would be the best OS to move to, as WP people like me.

Here is what I posted as requirements at Android Central/iMore:

Here are the OS related things I use all the time:

Outlook email
Onedrive
Music app
Navigation apps (Here maps on WP)
Swipe-esque keyboard
Cortana-esque services for time and location based reminders and voice recognition for messaging.
Office apps

Hardware I'm used to:
Glance screen (I don't know if android has an equivalent)
Double tap to wake (or a fingerprint reader, which I think iphone 5 or higher have)
Physical camera button (preferred not required)
Capacitive or hardware buttons
Good camera hardware
4.5 inch screen (negotiable, but I don't want a phablet)

why not just grab an unlocked 930 or 1520?

I would do that if I were going to almost any other country, but unlocked phones have problems in Japan from what I've heard. I'm not in the mood to troubleshoot a cellphone while I'm trying to figure out how to throw away my garbage correctly.

Thanks, Laura, that was really helpful. I was going to ask about the bing rewards app, but I remembered it doesn't work outside the US anyway, haha.

For the keyboard I use SwiftKey. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.touchtype.swiftkey

It works as well as WordFlow on Windows Phone 8.1.
